Xファイル・ムービー２の予告編がリークしました。投稿の日付は2/24ですから3日前ですね。見たところで内容は把握できないというので、試しに見てみましたが・・・・・。

確かに内容はわからないので、逆に想像力をかきたてられましたよ（笑）

映画館で盗撮されたものなんですかね？しかし、それにしても観客の声援の凄いこと（笑）いがいと冷静に動向を見ていたんですが、ちょっと期待が高まってしまいましたｗｗ

Ten years after the first film and six years after the show went off the air, The X-Files returns to theaters with Fox Mulder, Dana Scully and a lot riding on the bet that fans want more of the FBI's paranormal-investigating agents. The film, which remains without a formal title, will dump the long-running "mythology" plotline that aliens live among us and are part of a colonizing effort that made it one of the most popular television shows in the late 1990s but ultimately drove away some viewers who found it too complex and ambiguous. "We spent a lot of time on (the mythology) and wrapped up a lot of threads" when the show went off the air in 2002, says Chris Carter, creator of the series and director of the new movie. "We want a stand-alone movie, not a mythology conspiracy one." That will come as welcome news to fans of the show's stand-alone episodes, which included cults, ghosts, psychics and ancient curses. Carter refuses to divulge any plot points of the movie, but says he wanted to make the film immediately after the show ended. A contractual dispute with 20th Century Fox kept it on the shelf until the case was settled out of court. He says the delay may turn out to be a blessing. "There's a whole audience I want to introduce X-Files to," Carter says. "There were kids who couldn't watch it on TV because it was too scary. Now they're in college. I wanted a movie that everyone could go to." Whether they will could be a test of the show's legacy, says Blair Butler of the G4TV network, which caters to video-game enthusiasts and science-fiction fans. "At its strongest, it had really creepy stand-alone episodes," she says. "They turned it into a great franchise. But a lot of years have passed. We'll see if it's fallen off the radar." She says the film could benefit from an ironic twist: the Writers Guild strike. "I think it could be a sort comfort food for the people who loved how original the show was and aren't seeing original TV now," she says. But Carter believes they'll be drawn by something else: the show's stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. "For me, The X-Files has always been a romance," he says. "They had an intellectual romance that's very rare and restrained compared to so many relationships on TV. I think that's what appealed most to the fans. And they're back."

とりあえずこの記事を見る限り、Mythology（Xファイルで言う、いわゆるミソロジー）やConspiracy（陰謀）の要素は排除されるみたいですな。

また、この記事におけるクリス・カーターの発言からすると、やはりモルダーとスカリーの関係がかなり強調されている感じがしますな。ただ、この二人のキャラクターの関係をクリスは良くわかっているようなので（あたりまえか　爆）、ベッドシーンなんかは無いと思うんだけどねぇ。

まあ、話の内容は正直どうでもよろしい。陰謀系やミソロジーに関係無くても良い。二人の関係を重視して作られても良い。アマンダ・ピートが出ようが出まいがどうでもよろしい。

劇場で見たときにXファイルのファンである私を納得させてくれればね。

内容は、ちょっと前から話題になっているモルダーとスカリーのベッドシーンに関する記事です。

でもって私の翻訳。うまく日本語に出来なくて適当にごまかしてるところもありますが、大まかな内容はわかると思います。

いやぁ、当人じゃないけどベッドシーンとかあからさまなラヴシーンは勘弁してほしいねぇ。それによってXファイル自体のイメージが大きく損なわれる可能性が大。基本的に彼らの間に愛情はあっても、プラトニックなものであって、その愛情が画面上では極端に抑えられているがゆえに良いのだから。

ベッドシーンなんかあったらぶち壊しですよ。

まあ、演じる二人にはそれが十分わかっているようです。そこが救いだな。

そうそう、私はMyspaceでThe X-filesのグループに参加しているのですが（mixiの方にあるコミュは相当前に辞めました　笑）、そちらでは撮影中のデヴィッド・ドゥカブニーの写真なんかが掲載されていました。

既に10月中旬からニュースになっていますが、ようやくXファイル・ザ・ムービー２の映画化がようやく本決まりのようですな。

撮影開始は来月の12月からで、撮影場所は何とバンクーバー！

公開は2008年7月25日。

といっても内容は単なるお知らせですが・・・・。

右サイドバーの下方に『LINKS TO X-FILERS』というリンク集を造りました。Xファイルファンが『X-FILERS』と呼ばれているかどうかは別として、ここではまさにＸファイルのファンを指すことにします（爆）

でもってこのリンク集にX-FILERSの一人である『せるふぉんさん』のせるふぉん☆こだわりの日記を追加させていただきました。

ついでに昔の記事を読み返してみたんですが、いやぁ酷い文章書いてるんですね、私って（爆）しかもレイアウトというか書き方というか・・・・その辺も酷くて読み辛い。英文の日本語訳も、一応意味はわかりますが、日本語としてちょっと酷いかも（爆）

これからこのブログを読んでくださる人はその辺要注意です（自爆）

4/27にX-Files 2: Too Early to Celebrateという記事が。

X-Files 2: Too Early to Celebrate by Paul Davidson April 27, 2007 - David Duchovny has always put a positive spin on things when talking about the possibility of a second X-Files movie. When he last spoke of the film about a month ago, the actor was fairly optimistic that X-Files 2 would begin shooting in 2008. Producer-writer Frank Spotnitz has also confirmed on his personal weblog that the film is finally going somewhere, and that a script is currently "in development." We know that creator Chris Carter has had meetings with Fox about the film as recently as last month, but The Wired Blog Network, however, has additional word from a Fox spokesperson, warning that it's too early to consider the next X-Files movie a done deal. While they confirmed a picture has been in development for some time, the project is not "anywhere near" the point of getting David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to commit. X-Files 2 in 2008? Unlikely, perhaps, but not impossible quite yet.

それから、記事が読めなくなっているんですが、'X-Files 2' in Holding Patternというタイトルの記事があります。Holding pattern とは『待ち状態』って事ですが、文脈によっては『手詰まり状態』という意味も。

それから4/30のFOX筋からの情報としては"X-Files" Sequel Inches Back a Few Stepsなんて記事もある。

Well, hm. Then a Fox person said that an "X-Files: Fight the Future" sequel has been the subject of discussion for quite some time now, and also that discussion of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny's return is a bit premature: "It's not anywhere near that level yet." So stay patient, you File-fans!

これはかなり良い方のニュースかな。

まあ、Xファイルに限らず、何でもそうなんだけど、公式な発表が無い限り情報って信用おけないのよねぇ・・・・・（笑）

前の記事でも書きましたが、フランク・スポトニッツのサイトにはブログがあって、Xファイルについての記述もあります。その記述から4月17日の投稿記事を抜粋してみました。

これを読むと、『スクリプト（脚本）は間違いなく製作中』だから、続編の映画化は一応進んでそうですな。

しかし笑える。『Xファイルの映画版続編は、やっと製作段階に入ったの？』という問い合わせがきているそうです。

さすが、ファンを待たせてるだけあって信用ないねぇ〜（爆）

この手の情報を探すのは結構めんどくさいと思ってやっていなかったのですが、英語版Googleのニュースのカスタム版を使えば楽勝でした（笑）

As for the plot, Duchovny says, "It's five years later. It will be a stand-alone movie. You have to assume a lot of people don't know the show, so you need a plot that doesn't require that you've seen the TV series." The first "X Files" movie debuted in 1998. Is it too long a wait for another film? "I think there were two schools of thought: Do another one right away or wait and have the fans really want one. I like the idea of people saying, 'Hey, where is Mulder after all of these years? Is he following Jimmy Buffett? Did he become a Parrothead?' " jokes the actor. Duchovny says it will "probably be easy to step back into Mulder's suit. ... It's like 'The Incredibles.' The suit is hanging in my closet, waiting. I'm just hoping to fit into the suit. I don't want to hear, 'Oh, man. Mulder has to cut back on the carbs.' " Forget any old stories about angst with his co-star, played by Gillian Anderson, who plays Scully. "We love each other now," he says. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder. We actually had lunch last week, and it was really nice to be back together." The film is expected to debut next summer. Duchovny says the script is "shrouded in secrecy. It's even a secret from me at the moment. I'd blab if I could." Duchovny is too busy for blabbing. He stars in the upcoming Showtime TV series "Californication." "It's a dark comedy about a writer who is beaten up by Hollywood," he says. He also stars in a new film called "The TV Set," opening Friday, about the behind-the-scenes maneuvering to bring a pilot to the small screen. Duchovny plays Mike Klein, a guy who has just sold his pilot script to a network run by Sigourney Weaver. Duchovny tried his luck at TV pilots during his young actor days. "One of the pilots was called 'Circus.' I played the son of a guy who owns the circus. My line was, 'No, don't sell it. I'm going to run the circus.' " And yes, he even auditioned for "Full House." この記事によるとDavidはやる気満々ですね（笑）しばらく関わりを持たなかった事で、ジリアンとも今はいい関係にあるそうです。『先週一緒に食事をたんだけど楽しかったね』とも言っています。

ストーリーは秘密にされていてDavidにも知らされていないそうですが、彼は『スカリーの苦悩』とは無縁のストーリーになるとも言っています。来年の夏には公開されるだろうとの事。

この記事によると製作に向けてかなり前向きに進んでいる思われます。


さて２つ目の記事はX-Files movie sequel making headwayです。内容は下記。

X-Files movie sequel making headway Monday, April 16, 2007 David Duchovny has been talking about doing a sequel to the 1998 X-Files movie for years, and now it finally looks like it may actually happen. Duchovny says that X-Files creator Chris Carter and writer Frank Spotnitz are working on a script to the film, and that both he and co-star Gillian Anderson are on board. "They're starting some kind of road towards doing it," he said. "I think they're really seriously going to move ahead and try to get it done fairly quickly." Duchovny said it'll be a fairly simple process to get the project off the ground because everyone involved is feeling the love again: "We want to do it now. All of the kind of fatigue and anxiety that we had towards the end of a nine-year run is gone, you know, and now we've forgotten, you know, why we hate one another and now we only remember why we love one another." この記事もかなり前向きな内容です。Chris Carter と Frank Spotnitz は既にスクリプトの作成に入っていて、DavidもGillianも出演予定になっているとか。Davidによれば『シーズン９まで作る過程で蓄積された疲弊感や不安は既にどこかへ行ってしまったよ』との事。



さて三つ目の記事はActress traumatized by 'X-Files'です。記事内容は下記。

The flame-haired actress claims she didn't enjoying starring in the show that catapulted her to fame and only stayed on the series for nine years because she had to. Gillian - who played Special Agent Scully in the show - told Stella magazine, "I couldn't get out of it. I didn't have a choice. I had to sign a contract for five-and-a-half-years before I even went to my first audition - when I didn't know if I'd got the part. Back then I was all innocent and I thought, 'Wow that sounds wonderful.' "But then, when I started, I realised I'd be in a Canadian wood working 16 hours a day for nine months a year. And the reason I stayed so long was because the only way I could get more money was to commit myself to doing it for another couple of years." Gillian, 38, admits she found her sudden fame very "traumatic" and difficult to cope with. She added, "When I started on 'The X Files' I had no idea what it would involve. When fans used to ask, as they always did, 'Do you believe in aliens?' I literally had no idea what to say. I used to go, 'Um. could you repeat the question?' I found the whole process incredibly traumatic."

さて、この記事はGillianに関する記事ですが、次期映画版の現実性を後退させそうな内容です。

まず、ジリアンは『Xファイルには自分の意思に反して出演することを強要された』と言っているそうな。Xファイルに出演することを楽しむことは無かったと語っています。

ジリアンがStella magazineに語った内容を箇条書きにするとこうなります。

・Xファイルからは逃げられなかった。私に選択の余地は無かった。
・最初のオーディションに行く前に、5年半の契約を結ばなければならなかったし、その当時にスカリーの役を獲得したかどうかも自分は知らなかった。
・当時を振り返れば、自分はあまりに無垢で、Xファイルに抜擢されたのは『すごい！！』と思った。
・仕事を開始してから、1年のうち9ヶ月、1日のうち16時間をカナダの森の中で過ごさなければならないという事がわかった。
・私がそんなにも長い間Xファイルに参加し続けたのは、お金を稼ぐ唯一の方法が更に数年間Xファイルに注力する事だったから。

ジリアンは、Xファイルで突然有名になった事がトラウマになり、それに対処できなかったとも語ってます。

どうも、Xファイルに出演して突然有名になってから、ファンにいつも『宇宙人を信じる？』といつも聞かれるようになり、どう答えればいいかわからない彼女はいつも『もう一回質問を言ってくれる？』と聞き返すようになったそうで、それが物凄いトラウマになったとか。



さて、３つ目のジリアンの記事を読むと、『ムービー２』は無いかなぁ？とも思うのですが、実は彼女の言っていることは全て過去形なんですね。なので、現在も『トラウマが消えず出演にはウンザリ』かどうかはわかりませんね。

Davidと一緒に食事したりしてるわけですから、前向きにXファイルに取り組んでくれると良いのですが。無理に出演して『ムービー２』を作るなら、私はやめてもらいたいですねぇ。

どうせ作るならわだかまり無く全力で取り組んで欲しいし。

何にせよ、全てがうまくいって来年の夏に『２』が見れるというのがファンに取っては一番うれしいことですな（＾＾）
